If you don't mind me asking, what specifically do you refer to with the after-the-fact alterations? I think I know what you mean, but I'm not the smartest kid a lot of the time so I just want to make sure so I can be more mindful of it in future. x3 Thank you very much, I'm very grateful for the advice.
Well, blurring and light saturation sort of things, that stuff. Filters that you put over the picture a certain way. For all i know, this could be the way you just did it, but it looks to me like you finished the original, then to get the lighting and the glow of the scenery right you put on some fancy extra stuff. That's good mind you, just be careful not to go overboard.
This might not be what you'd been hoping for, but my favorite part of the picture is not the pony, but that stellar bird in the corner. The lighting and the overall aesthetic around that little guy is stupendous.
